X-WinPro creates an easy access to different operating systems. It connects different operating systems and their applications together the way, which is transparent to you. You don’t have to care, where these applications physically locate in your network. X-WinPro brings remote applications to separate windows on your PC screen with the way that you won’t feel the difference comparing to local applications. You can operate local PC applications simultaneously with UNIX applications. Your local PC applications based on Windows 3.x, Windows NT and/or Windows 95 operating systems work fine together with applications running on UNIX, AIX, Linux, Solaris, etc. And what is the best, this concurrent work is really interactive. You can copy & paste text and images from one application to another simply by using your mouse and tranfer data among heterogenous computer environments. X-WinPro doesn’t take anything away from your PC, instead it brings another operating world alongside.

X-WinPro is simple but powerful 32-bit software package, which provides a cost effective way to transform your PC into a powerful X Window System terminal. To get started, all you need is the X-WinPro package and a standard 32-bit networked PC (386, 486 or Pentium). X-WinPro provides full support for multiple X applications and sophisticated window managers, including TWM, Motif and Open Look. You have a consistent graphical user interface for all your applications, so you get more productivity and less strain. Learning to work in a multiple-computer environment has never been so easy, so economical.

All in one package
X Window System, TCP/IP, FTP, TFTP and Telnet software are bundled in one package. All that you need to run remote UNIX and X Applications is included in X-WinPro. You can operate simultaneously with X11, FTP and Telnet sessions and with your familiar Windows 3.x, Windows NT or Windows 95 applications. From the same efficient X-WinPro package you can find all the network protocols and utilities you need, support for international keyboards, wide range of fonts, printing service etc. In brief - if you have the hardware we have all the software. Although we offer a complete package, you may as well use your existing protocols and solutions. You can have your own TCP/IP stack and you may use your familiar host based X fonts via X-WinPro’s X font Server. You can also easily configure keyboard to work your way.

Easy to install
To get started , you execute an easy installation procedure by answering a few questions. After that X-WinPro installs all the software and protocols you need to get going. X-WinPro does not need fancy hardware, your existing standard 32-bit PC is enough. Any networked 386, 486 or Pentium PC can become a X-WinPro terminal in minutes.

Easy to use
Starting work with X-WinPro is easy. You can choose from four different starting methods - XDM, RSH, REXEC and Telnet - to iniate your remote login session in host. You can locally build startup icons with help of macros, which enables you to start your favorite X clients just by clicking window icon. Using the X Window System terminal in familiar PC environment is so easy that you can do it almost without training. Users learn new applications quicker and with reduced number of commands to memorize. Experienced users are more comfortable and tire less easily.

Easy to administrate
When you want extend your system, you can add extra X-WinPro terminals quickly and with low cost. If your computer system supports a remote disk, you can install a multi user copy of X-WinPro on such disk. You can make companywide installation from single PC. You can share X-WinPro by multiple users and administrate that system centrally.
